Oprah.com features Moseley’s poem “Breakable”

I’ve just returned home from tonight’s Studio Series event, and found a welcome note in my inbox.  My poem Breakable is one of the featured poems on Oprah.com’s O, The Oprah Magazine’s Selection of Original Poetry, part of their celebration of Poetry Month.  You can read the poem here on Oprah.com.

“Breakable” can be found in my first collection The Moon is a Lemon, and has been reprinted in The Fish Has Swallowed Earth.

  • The Moon is a Lemon: Collector’s EditionThe Moon is a Lemon

In an era of poetic fads, Annabelle Moseley’s chapbook The Moon is a Lemon has a timeless grace. Lovely, accomplished, and full of feeling, her work reminds us of what the best poems do – leave us changed. This was Annabelle Moseley’s first chapbook, printed in 2005 in a limited-edition press-run of 300 total. Less than 15 now remain for sale.

“…a crucial geography of love” -Baron Wormser
“Love in all its many forms stands at the heart of Annabelle Moseley’s The Fish Has Swallowed Earth. The fish of the title poem may have “a hollow mouth full of stones,” but the poet certainly does not…” -Barbara Crooker
